Beth Nielsen Chapman - Hymns

Hymns features beautiful renditions of sacred music from this celebrated songwriter. Most selections come from Roman liturgy, with two pieces sung in English, and one original, "Hymn to Mary." Some pieces are performed a cappella, while others feature sparce accompaniment from harps, cello, and classical guitar. The album is an awe-inspiring collection of traditional classics.

Brock McGuire Band - Brock McGuire Band

The band’s eagerly awaited debut CD, Brock McGuire Band, is a potent blast of traditional Irish tunes, played with passion, precision, and a rousing creativity that often reaches fever pitch. LiveIreland.com named it Instrumental Album of the Year, exclaiming "There is simply no better band in Irish traditional music. Each of the musicians is a master of the form. This is, quite simply, perfect." The Irish Echo proclaimed it "stirring," putting it in the year’s Top 20 CDs, and The Irish Times calls it "a pristine collection." Check out this new selection, led by two grandmasters of the genre!

Milladoiro - 25

The Celtic music of Ireland, Scotland, and Brittany has been fused with the traditional music of Galicia by the seven-piece band Milladoiro. The product of two distinct bands, Milladoiro has created a unique sound that they call, "chamber folk." The original vision that led to the formation of Milladoiro was conceived by jazz multi-instrumentalist and music historian Xose A. Ferreiros in November 1978. The musical traditions of their homeland in Galicia are indeed evident in Milladoiro's sound.

Manus McGuire - Fiddlewings

Fiddlewings, the second solo fiddle recording from Manus McGuire takes you soaring on the wings of his fiddle to Scotland, Shetland, Cape Breton and Ireland with these fifteen glorious tracks. Manus is joined on several tracks by his brother Seamus McGuire as well as a host of other players.
